This is a small bronze horse temple pull toy from India. The horse and rider pulls a cart with a person inside of the carriage. It actually pulls very well considering the symmetry of the wheels. Well, he has been retired from being pulled for nearly 40 years any way. This toy is 5 inches long and 4 tall and 2.5 inches wide. Nice vintage patina. NOTE: In the late 1970’s I was traveling in northern India and when possible would pass by some temple or temple store and inquire about vintage items. Over a few months of traveling I picked up a small group of brozne items and some lovely temple toys and while I turned down many many more than I purchased, I am not a subject matter expert on these items. I am estimating these are as 19c or early 20c items. Good close up pictures should help the informed buyer better assess the age as well as be informed of the quality and condition. If any of the 7 lots of antique bronze items that I am selling you think is not as old as I list please let me know.
