This 1868 Ripley oil lamp is a very rare find. In1868 Ripley made a double chambered lamp, he called the "marriage lamp" that featured the same colors as are in this double finger, hand to hand lamp. I have had this lamp inspected by several antique lamp dealers and learned the history, and all were surprised to see this rare colored lamp in such great condition. I have been offered to place the lamp in several shops in my area, but decided that I would rather hang on to it until it sells... this truly is a rare treasure!! This lamp is in mint condition!!! NO CHIPS OR SCRATCHES!!! If you are the purchaser you may want to purchase a older burner and chimney to display it proudly!! I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !! Dont miss out... place your bid now !!
