This Thimble came from an auction of items in a small museum located at a Convent in NW Ohio.. Looks to be Silver or Silver Plate.. #12...initials A.K. (I think)... Mid 1800's Village Décor.. Stamped inside top is a ... Shield w/S ,which has the bottom end looping around and extended up to the top.. (this may be an English date code of 1853) Shows normal use wear, may not be perfect... Not an expert, on these items, only describing item as best I can, please view pics and make your perspective as to time frame, material ,collectability..
