This auction is for a beautiful old wooden file box/cabinet. It is in excellent functional condition but needs a little cleaning and a good rub with bee's wax. This nice old file box has beautiful brass hardware. It was made using remarkable dovetail construction! The wood and hardware have a nice aged patina. Some of the screws that hold the hinges are missing but I think they could be easily replaced from the hardware store. The missing screws do not hinder the function of the doors opening/closing at all. This is a beautiful and sturdy old file box. It measures 20" long x 13" wide x 11 1/2" tall. Thanks for looking.
