Classic fish pendant by Antonio Pineda, Mexico, circa 1950s. The fish is sterling silver but the chain is NOT (this is how I got the piece, I'm not sure what the metal of the chain is). The pendant could be worn as is or put on a chain of your choice (or would even look great on a leather chord). Great fun by a great master! Being offered with no reserve. Antonio Pineda was a contemporary of William Spratling, Hector Aguilar and Fred Davis. Please see my other auctions for more great pieces. Pendant measures approximately 2 1/4" long and 2 inches wide, chain is 20 inches long and is in excellent condition. Weighs 17 grams (without the chain). Signed on the tail ANTONIO TAXCO in the crown. Ask questions prior to bidding since all sales are final.
