This listing is for a vintage applique quilt made from a kit. The quilt features a pretty floral pattern, which I believe is hollyhocks. The appliqué was executed using a combination of needle-turn and button-hole stitch. The stems and leaves were appliquéd using needle-turn and small, even stitches. The flowers were appliqued using a button-hole stitch. The flowers have embroidered accents as well, giving the flowers detail and deminsion. The quilting was done using small, even stitches. The batting is thin and the backing is a solid white to match the quilt top. The binding is the same green as the stems and leaves. The quilt measures approximately 76.5” X 79”. There are a few small, light spots scattered on the quilt top. Any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking.
