Armand Marseille Bisque Head Doll Description: Here's a pretty Armand Marseille bisque shoulderhead doll from the early 1900s! She's a '370' mold doll -- Armand Marseille's most popular model of shoulder head dolls -- and every '370' seems to have a character all her own! This girl seems to have a special sweetness about her ... perhaps it's because she's been fitted with 2 upper teeth instead of the normal 4. (And yes, I checked, her teeth are original not replacements!). She features a bisque shoulder head with brown glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with 2 upper teeth, and molded and multi-stroke painted eyebrows. White kid leather body with bisque hands and cloth feet. She's dressed in a 1960s-era flannel nightgown, and her synthetic wig also looks be from the '60s. Back of her shoulderplate is marked "370. A.M. 2 1/2 DEP." Dimensions: Measures 20 1/2" tall . Condition: Bisque head is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Fingers on her left hand are broken, unfortunately! But no damage to her right hand. Body has several repairs -- both cloth feet have been recovered, leather patches on her upper arms (where they're sewn to the shoulders), patches on the thigh gusset joints, and a patch on her right knee.
