Vintage Art Deco Mahagony Secretary Desk with Inlay work cabinet RARE Retail value $2300.00 This is a lovely secretary desk with duel bookcases on either side. An art deco piece made in the late nineteen thirties. The top-drawer flips open, pulls out and lays flat as a desktop and inside is a well sectioned out organizing station with two small drawers as well. The bookcase doors have a classic cross diagonal brass screening from that period and secure with a skeleton key. On the back of the piece in bold white is clearly stamped by most certainly by the originating factory: 2438 MAHG, indicating both the model number of the piece and the type of wood used to make it, which of course is Mahogony This is one of the original secretary desk......... 48" x 15" x 35" please email us if you have question Shipping $275 or Free local pick up only pickup location is Silver Spring, Md. 20906 (suburban Washington DC).
