VINTAGE ART DECO COPPER & BRASS COAL/LOG BUCKET WITH ITS ORIGINAL STEEL LINER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very good condition. The coal bin has a polished copper body & a copper finial on the lid. The lid is brass as are the side handles and the base is galvanised steel. It has its original steel liner with carrying handles which painted green. The copper body has no dents and has a hammered surface finish with two bands of Art Deco inspired embossed decoration. The brass lid is also very good but does have one or two very slight knocks. The whole thing is raised on three brass bun feet. A very nice example dating from the 1930s/40s. 39cm / 15.5" tall 27cm / 10.6" across the rim 2,965g / 6lb 8oz I don't have any awkward conditions just good old fashioned service.
