For sale is a wonderful VINTAGE ART DECO JEFFERSON GOLDEN HOUR MYSTERY CLOCK with BRAND NEW U.S. MADE MOTOR that has been fully restored and tested. Made by the Jefferson Electric Company of Bellwood, Illinois starting in 1949, these clocks are beautifully simple art deco works of art with a wonderful and very unique style. The hands on these clocks seem to turn magically as if they had no motor, but its actually the glass that moves and turns the hands via a brilliant counterweight design. Many people simply post these clocks for sale, often not describing the working condition or showing clear photos that let you know exactly what you are getting, but we take the time and care to clean each of these beautiful clocks, make the needed repairs, replace the cord with a new one, and test each clock for at least 2 weeks before selling it. We specialize in Jefferson Golden Hours and don't restore any other type of clock - If a clock doesn't pass our tests for working condition and aesthetic beauty, then we will not sell it until it does. Most of our clocks come with a workmanship guarantee. Each one of our Vintage Jefferson Golden Hours is different and we describe each one individually and price it accordingly and affordably.... This particular clock has been completely disassembled, GIVEN A BRAND NEW U.S. MADE MOTOR , and a brand new cord (the old ones are often brittle and very dangerous). This clock has been cleaned up to show it's 24K gold luster, has been tested, is working well, running quietly, and has been keeping good time for the last 2 weeks. (The new motors for these clocks sell for over $50 without installation). Why buy an untested clock that might need to be repaired immediately, when you can buy one that has been restored to it's best possible condition and is ready to enjoy as soon as you receive it? This clock is in wonderful condition for its age and is a great looking Golden Hour. The finish on this clock looks really great, it has a nice, pretty golden shine, and almost no wear at all, with only the smallest of scratches, and small age spots which are VERY minor for this wonderful vintage clock. You will likely not notice these minor flaws, unless you are ultra close up and purposely looking for a flaw. This one also still has the luminescent paint on hands, which is rare to find in salable condition. This is a really great vintage clock and we believe that like our other customers who have bought our clocks, you will be very proud to own this Jefferson Golden Hour.
