Mixed Lot 76 Vintage ART DECO BAKELITE? BUTTONS Sold to me as Art Deco (1930s/40s) and made of bakelite, although I am neither dealer nor expert, I just like vintage things. So it is possible that they are an early plastic. Whatever, they are a large and attractive collection to give a wonderful vintage feel to your clothing or craft projects.Lot comprises a total of 76 buttons - 15 round coloured buttons with contrasting white circles, and 51 square coloured ones of various sizes 40 of those with a contrasting white cut-out design in different diagonal directions on each side, which makes for 9 holes and a very unusual design:13 x large circular Burgundy & White (2.7cm diameter)2 x medium circular Bungundy & White (2.4cms diameter - they match the 13 larger round ones but are very slightly smaller)12 x large square Blue & White (2.6cms square)11 x large square Coffee & White (2.6cms square)20 x medium square Brown & White (2cms square)6 x medium square Black & White (2cms square)1 x medium square Navy & White (2cms square)11 x small square marbled Grey (1.4cms square)Great to get so many matching vintage buttons all together and in good condition.
