PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MORE DECORATIVE ANTIQUES. This is an interesting pair of side tables which are far more elegant in real life than they appear in the photos! The legs are made of square section iron which has been fitted at an angle to create a diamond like profile (the photos probably explain this more clearly than me!) and they have heavy marble shelves and tops, the latter being fitted with a very pretty brass gallery. They came from a stately home, the lady I bought them from suggested that they are probably French, I tend to agree with her. The yellow paint finish is not original but is old and has a nice shabby authentic feel. The marble and brass galleries are all in good order. They each measure 21.5" tall x 17.5" wide x 14.25" deep. You are welcome to collect from Bath, or I can arrange delivery for between £25 and £75 with a dedicated furniture courier for most of mainland Britain, please email for exact quotes. They are jolly heavy (20 kilos each at a guess) and I would rather not trust the marble with Parcelforce etc. If you like the style of this, please c heck out my other items and add me to your favourites list as I often have similar furniture for sale.
