This is a beautiful RARE Vintage Art Deco Roseville Pottery "Ferella" footed bowl circa 1930. This bowl f eatures a pierced top border and foot with a raised seashell or asparagus pattern. Beautiful colors of mottled terra cotta brown with green and pale yellow. There are no chips, cracks nor crazing. This is in great condition and a good example of this period! Ferella is a hard pattern to find without damage. There is a paper foil stamp for Roseville on the bottom, along with a hand written mold #210. measures 4 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" across top with a 3" base. Ferella is a middle period Art Deco pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1930. The pattern was named after art director Frank Ferrell. Ferella is considered scarce and is highly sought after by Art Deco collectors. Standard colors included brown and raspberry red. Ferella was originally marked with paper labels.
