Vintagescottish pebble lacquer long glass necklace in need of re stringing dating from around the 1930's. Oval beads in wonderful rich colours reminiscent of celtic agate with tiny gold glass spacers in between. The necklace measures 35" in total length. It has an old fastener but this may not be needed, as when re strung the necklace is long enough to be slipped over the head for easy wearing. I will leave it to the new owner to decide. To give an idea of scale, the oval beads measure approx 1/2" long x 1/4" wide but vary slightly as they are hand made. A lovely piece for re stringing which will be extremely wearable today. Be different from the crowd and wear a piece of classic vintage. These original items are the inspiration for the jewellery designers of today.
