Stunning vintage Art Deco onyx and marcasite pendant necklace in marked sterling silver. It has a gorgeous articulated bail pendant drop and a detailed station link chain with an embossed pattern on the back as well as a pretty design on the front. It measures 18" long end to end, the pendant drop is 1 7/8" long x 3/4" wide. It has an unusal closure which is a push clasp with a locking safety arm. The push part doesn't snap in (not sure if it's supposed to) but the safety snaps and holds it in place. It's marked 925 on the back of the pendant and there appears to be a hallmark as well but I can't make it out. This is a stunning necklace and very well made. I think it's German in origin and they marked their items with the silver content.
