Up for auction are these wonderful rare and original Syroco Poodle Bookends - Circa 1930's to early 1950's art deco Syroco standard poodle dog bookends. These are hand painted with felt lined bottoms - Syroco stands for the Syracuse Ornamental Company of Syracuse, New York, and they pioneered the use of resins with wood chips to create this wood product. The foil stickers have been removed but otherwise in great condition with a few scuffs. The poodle versions are the rarest to find. Please email ay questions for confident bidding!! Happy Hunting!!!
