This is a vintage Art Deco Toast-O-Lator, chrome exterior toaster of the 40s with the inventive walk-through toast and see through window, it is in good condition, shows normal wear for use, time and storage, has some surface scratches and a few dents, see pictures for better details. I have connected it and the electric heating elements come on and the toast advancing mechanism works, keep in mind that the electical wiring dates from the 40s and are probably not up to current code. My auctions do not have a reserve price. From online research: " The fabulous Toast-O-Lator . Manufactured from 1936 through 1952(?), this wonderful toaster brings the assembly line to the breakfast table. When you turn on the Toast-O-Lator a row of teeth begin rotating in a circular fashion. Bread is placed in the appropriate end and is walked through the unit while being toasted. You can watch the bread toasting through the circular viewing window in the side."
