Time has been kind to this hardware set, as the handles are in fine condition. Measuring 4 ¼" across, the pulls are 2 1/8" in height. The distance between the centers of the eye bolt holes is 3", a typical configuration. They appear to be cast brass and although delicate in design, the pulls seem to be quite sturdy. The lacey scrollwork on the plate and handle is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau period. I chose to leave the handles in their original condition, as the patina finish may be more appealing to some folks, than a highly polished brass. Free of cracks, breaks or any significant wear, the set has many more years of service to provide. One of the flat square nuts is new, with everything else intact and in fine working order. Impressed in the metal on the backside of each is a mark, which I am unable to decipher as numbers or a logo. It could be a sideways "8", over a line (like the infinity symbol), but also looks like "1810" on some of the pulls. One picture shows a close-up of this mark, and perhaps your discerning eyes will be able to solve the mystery. Quite a charming set from days gone by. I have another set of handles, different design, listed in a separate auction, and welcome combined shipping. Top bidder to pay actual Priority Mail shipping charges of $4.05.
