Lovely Cinnabar BoxThis vintage Cinnabar box was purchased in Japan in the early 50’s. (It was not a new piece then….) It measures 7.25” rim to rim and stands 2.75” high. Top has two people crossing a bridge amongst a lovely rural scene of mountains, rockery, trees, water, etc. with possibly Mount Fuji in the background.Sides are carefully designed, too. I see no signature on the bottom, but there is a label with many Asian characters which would no doubt tell the whole story…. There is minimal wear to this piece – some nicks minor nicks here & there. The black interior looks to be in excellent condition.This has been a display piece for a multitude of years and will come to you from a smoke free home.Buyer pays $8.50 for Shipping and Delivery Confirmation.
