This is a superb two sided mechanical pencil by Autopoint. One side is red and the other black with leads to match the color of the pencil. It has a silver band in the center and silver tips that turn to extend the lead. I don't know the size of the lead but it is thicker than today's standard. This pencil measures 5 1/4" long with an octagonal panel design and the Autopoint name is inscribed into one of the black panels. Condition appears excellent with no chips, cracks, bends or breaks. A fine addition to any vintage pen, pencil or writing instrument collection. I have a number of items listed from several beautiful estates and continually add to my listings.
