Offered is a really nice piece of Bakelite. It is an unusual subject, a cameo. The cameo is a really pretty lady in profile, she has an elaborate hairstyle and dress. The cameo is set on an etched scalloped edge backing. The overall size is about 2 3/4" X 2 1/8". This cameo is further set off by a matching chain. The 23" chain is also made of Bakelite, even the hook and eye clasp is made of bakelite. This vintage necklace is in very good condition. Wouldn't this cameo make a perfect Valentine's Day gift?
