My name is Stacey Porter and I make one of a kind award winning pieces in the Chicago area. I am an artist that has worked in many different mediums and for the last ten years I have been working with vintage pieces making them into something new. This type of art form is called assembled art. This vintage brown bakelite scotty terrier os a wonderful coffee bean color brown. I have added a sterling back and collar to him to turn into a pendant. He has a vintage glass eye. This particular piece was from a old barette and is slightly curved. This measures 1.75 inches inlenght and almost 1.75 inches in height. The little terrier is beautifully and deeply carved. This would make a great pendant or a charm. I am starting this at my cost. My work can be viewed at the Gurnee Antique Center in Gurnee, Illinois, next to Great America, off 132 East. I am hoping to be at the Outsider Art Pier Show, in New York in March.
