000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 For your consideration I have a Rare Vintage Chalkware String Holder, design with the Face of a Baker or Chef. I say rare, only because I can not find another one just like him. He is in extremely good condition for being so old! His chalk frame is very thick, and well made. He has wonderful well blended hand painted facial features, with minimal paint loss or flaking. Several areas that look like flakes are really just lighter specks of paint, particularly to the eyebrow area and side burn. I see no major chips to mention, only a few ruff or rubbed areas. He has a hole created in his mouth with a lime green twine inserted for display purposes, and has a secure metal wired hoop attached and inserted into the chalk at the top for hanging to the wall. He has no markings found. He measures approx. 6 ½" high, 5" wide, and 3 ¼" deep. If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding if possible.
