VINTAGE BARBIE 1965 "MODERN ART #1625" WITH PUMPS Description Welcome to this auction for Vintage Barbie 1965 Ensemble "Modern Art #1625". You are bidding on the green flowered dress with organza overdress, and the matching green closed toe pumps. Both are in excellent condition, showing no damage or wear and are crisp and clean, as I found them. The green flowered dress is bright and intact. The zipper works fine, the seams tight. The under dress has no rips or discoloration, nor does the organza overdress, collar, belt and bow. I checked very carefully for any tears or holes, as delicate as this material is, and I found none. This dress appears to have seen very little play in its day. Please see pictures 5, 6 and 7. I added these to show a flower on the dress pattern appears dark on the left side of the front collar. This is not a stain on either dress part, just a dark rose sitting on the dress pattern edge that shows through the sheer green organza. Both are undamaged. The black and white Barbie tag in the skirt is intact and unfrayed. As crisp and clean as the dress. The pumps are in excellent condition as well, marked "Japan" on the bottoms and are shiny and dark green, not faded as my picture seems to look. They are a nice, rich green.
