This auction is for an extremely rare vintage pink silhouette box #879 "FRIDAY NITE DATE" with a vintage TM Barbie. I believe the Barbie is an early #4 Ponytail but I am not expert and I am not sure. Please judge yourself from the pictures. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.I do not know if this is the doll that originally came in the box or not. I do know the outfit (#979) is not the outfit on the doll. The outfit on the doll is vintage Barbie Golden Girl #911 but it is INCOMPLETE with the bracelet missing. You get the dress, gloves, brown mules, necklace, and purse as pictured. What you see in the pictures is what you get. This is how I bought it and consequently how I am selling it. Outfit is in good shape with one of the gloves being a bit discolored. I do not have the #979 outfit.Also includes the plastic base and wire stand common from this era along with the 1959 - 1960 Barbie Teen-Age Fashion Model Booklet. Booklet is in good shape though a bit creased and worn with a bit of writing on one page.The doll itself looks to be in good shape. Could use a bit of touch up on the makeup, but overall very nice. I slight tinge of green around the ear-holes is the only defect I can see. Hair looks to be in good shape. I believe it to be a #4, but I am not sure. Body is in premium condition.
