The clasp on this purse is lovely and works well. The beading is impeccable. The purse is stained inside as noted in the pictures and there is a slight blemish on the outside of the purse. The handle of the person needs to be repaired, however the loops are there and any chain could be attached. The beads are in a floral pattern and are in remarkably good condition.A little History on the purse: Walborg beaded purses were popular in the 1950s. Hilde Walborg Weinberg founded Walborg Co. in New York City in the late 1940s. Purses were designed by Hilde and handmade in Belgium, France, Italy, and West Germany. By the late 1950s, some Walborg purses were made in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The company was in business until the 1960s.The purse is 8 inches long at it's widest and about 5 inches tall. It's perfectly imperfect!
