This auction is for a nice old firefighting pick ax. It is marked on one side M BEATTY & SON CHESTER, PA and their trade mark that looks like a bull in some grass. The ax head is almost 11" long by 4 1/4" at widest point and 1 1/8" thick at handle area. The pick end is 5" long. Sorry we dont have handle. Head is in good used condition with normal use marks. Has some nicks, some minor pitting, some surface rust in handle area but no cracks or breaks. Appears to be some grinder marks on small area below pick, probably from mushrooming removal.
