Very old bed warmer, I don't know allot about this item, I belive its made of copper, and handle is wood....I was told items like these were used in the old days to warm a bed, I suppose you put something hot in it and put it under your bed. It was never used, the aged look it has is just from that....its age. A nice collectible or decorative piece. T is what apears to be German? Italian? writing on the top center part, this is what I think it says - A Villedieu.mancht Lecellier Havord Brevete B.G.D.G T is one letter before the M in Mancht I can't make out. Good Luck!
