T are hundreds of unusual and interesting items and books in my eBay store, RKs Virtual Attic , so be sure to take a look around!This item is a wonderful vintage honey dish/jar/pot. It could also be used for jelly, sugar or something else. Someone told me that they thought these little bees were for ketchup or mustard. This seems too small to me for that but I really don't know for sure. It is an adorable little bee character with a sweet smiling face and eyelashes. The top or cover is in the shape of blue wings and the top of the bee's body. T is a small plastic or celluloid spoon which protrudes from a groove at the back of the lid and looks like the bee's stinger. T is no identifying mark or sticker but one identical to this recently sold on eBay and that one still had a JAPAN sticker on the bottom, so it is from Japan. I don't know the age but it is certainly seems to be vintage mid-20th century. It is in very good condition. No cracks or repairs. . It is about 2 3/4" long, not counting the spoon, about 2" wide and about 1 3/4" high. This is a great little item for your collection, to display or to use and enjoy.
