Up for sale is a vintage Bell System Science Experiment No. 1: From Sun To Sound, George R. Frost, Bell Telephone Laboratories, Inc, An experiment in electronics demonstrating the conversion of solar energy to sound, 1961. It is unused, the parts are still in sealed plastic bags. Due to the age I do not know if everything is functional. The following is the contents list from the book, I believe all of the parts are included but I do not know what some of them are. Contents: 14 Fahnstock Clips Spool #32 enameled wire 1 Transformer core assembly 1 Transformer core bobbin 1 Transformer mounting screw, washers, and wing nut 14 Mounting clips and washers 1 Bell Solar Battery 1 Transistor 1 Transistor socket 1 Cardboard chassis 1 Book, From Sun to Sound The outer box has a tear near the thin strip beneath the rectangular hole.
