The cat stands about 10" tall and his out-stretched paws and tray is about 3 1/4" across and from the toes of his hind feet to the tail where he stands freely is about 3 1/2" . B2335. this is a fine old cat. i am pretty sure it is made of brass, no magnet sticks to it and I can see a little tiny bit of the brass where the paint has rubbed off. not much paint is gone so you really have to look to see the brass. it is a pen holder or business or calling card holder. Or, you could use it for your keys, mints, matches or even a pipe. he makes for a great conversation piece. now I sold one just like it back a couple of months ago, but these are new pictures of the one for sale now. i have been calling him a boy cat because certain elements of the cat's form lend a strong suggestion that he is a boy cat, LOL. i do not know it's true age but my two aunts always bought the same stuff and these have been around a long time. thank you for looking and please visit all my great antiques and collectibles in my store.
