Up for auction is this gorgeous black and gold tone metal mesh snake/serpent necklace in the Whiting and Davis style. The snake body is made of a shiny black mesh and the head and tail are made of a goldtone gilded me ta l accented with black and the serpent eyes are a sapphire colored crystal.The snake head has a strong clip that attaches to the body at any desired length. It measures 26" from end to end so it can be worn as a necklace or a choker. It is flexible, non stretchy and very comfortable to wear. It is in pristine, like new condition. T he piece does not have a makers mark. The specific age of the necklace is not known.Please e-mail for any additional questions. Comes from a smoke free home.
