On the auction block is a wonderful vintage bar back display for Blatz beer. A banjo playing keg man sits on a small stage singing “I’m from Milwaukee ”. His body is made of a beer keg, and he wears an old time boater hat. At his side stands a real bottle of Blatz, empty of course, with the metal cap still intact. This is an all metal display, with the exception of the bottle. Blatz beer had a whole line of these charming displays in the 1950s-60s, all made of metal. This one has survived better than most, with only a few issues. There is very little chipping of the paint, and the flocking on the curtains is in great shape. The only real flaw here is a slight bending of the base on the front right corner. But the wood grain floor hides this imperfection and the display sits level and very stable. This is a great example of this particular display. The full display stands 17 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Don't let this one get away. Shipping is determined by buyer location via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Parcel Post. Shipping weight for this item is 9 pounds. (Sometimes ebay displays a shipping amount at the top which is incorrect, so please disregard it and go by the weight.) Payment by PayPal verified only.
