This is a vintage crock bowl in beautiful shade of medium-light blue. It would hold approx two quarts. On the bottom of the bowl there are the words "Oven Ware Made in USA", plus the maker's mark which looks like a large "8". The crock has a patina of age and wear; there are a few small rim chips in the unglazed part of the bowl rim-that is the only flaw. The outside surface of the bowl has an interesting design molded into the extended border along the upper edge; it is approx 1 1/8 inches wide. You could enjoy adding this functional vintage crock to your kitchen and it would look great on display! Please e-mail for a quote on the cost of shipping to addresses outside the lower 48.
