NO RESERVE! Overall, VERY NICE and HARD TO FIND! Another one from my own collection! You are bidding on an ORIGINAL VINTAGE METAL Lufthansa Airlines Boeing B707-430 jet airliner desk model! This terrific TRAVEL AGENCY display airplane is made from a heavy diecast metal. On the underside is the label of the manufacturer, Bermel of West Germany, one of the premier airplane model makers back in the 1960's, similar to Mecater of Spain, Raise-Up of Holland, Walkers Westway of England, Osgaard and Fermo of Denmark, and Verkuyl of Holland. The color is white and unpainted metal, with dark blue, red and black trim, and this great aviation memorabilia piece is fairly big , measuring about 18 inches long with a 17 inch wingspan! The paint is not perfect and the decals have yellowed over the years, but for a model thirty or forty years old, it still looks great! While one of the engine exhaust cones is missing, the other three are still attached, and the decals do not have too many scratches, and I do not see any paint touchups! The registration number is D-ABOC. You can see a picture of the real airplane this model depicts (although in later Condor livery) on airliners dot net.Please see pics.
