Vintage boxed Mettoy Cash register and some later unopened play money. The Mettoy Toytown cash register is small size which would be suitable for a toy grocery shop such as the ones made by Triang. It is just 3.4" tall and 3.25" deep. Plastic with a tinplate back. The keys can be pressed to put up a price, open the till and ring the bell. I would assume this dates to the 1960s. It comes with its original box which is in poor condition with some tears and edge wear, and old sellotape inside, but it is all there. I have also included a later packet of Bank Of Princess Susie play money (in unopened pack). It contains a £5 and £1 note and some plastic decimal coins marked Woolbro (so I think Woolwor ths ex shop stock). NIce items for a vintage toy grocery shop. I am listing other items and will combine postage for items which end at the same time. I do sell abroad but items must go International Signed For. International price quoted is for USA. European international postage is cheaper.
