Vintage pair of architectural bookends from the Bradley & Hubbard company and depict a pair of classical corinthian columns. These are unusual for B&H in that they are formed brass and not cast iron. They measure 5" wide and 6" tall and weigh 4 lb 9 oz each. Old green felt on the bottom. One of the bookends has some dents in the shaft of columns, the other bookend is much better. B&H was one of the finest decorative arts foundries at the time and these bookends reflect that with crisp, intricate detailing. A nice piece for the architect or historian.
