JoeDaWolfWe sell everything, anyw This auction is for a vintage brass Chelsea Holosteric Barometer, which reads "Stormy Rain Change Fair Very Dry". A holosteric barometer is one which is constructed of solid materials to show the variations of atmospheric pressure without the use of liquids.The clock measures 7" across the front. It is mounted onto a wooden base measuring 11 1/4" across x 11 3/4" tall. We know that the thermometer works - not sure if the barometer is working. This is being sold "As Is".It is a rare to find such a great vintage barometer. We are also auctioning a working vintage Chelsea nautical clock. It would make a great set with this barometer!!
