BRVJVLA (BRUJULA?) SOLAR - PILLALROR (FILLALROR?) - Vintage Brass Compass I don't know much about this item, so I've included photos below, from every possible angle to allow for close inspection. This lidded brass piece contains a compass. There is a felt pad on the bottom, which would indicate it was intended to be placed on a desk or table. The compass works perfectly, pointing true north. The dome shaped cover appears to be made of plastic, not glass. I'm not sure if this is original or if it has been replaced. The compass is in excellent vintage condition. The inside of the lid is lined in felt. The domed shaped plastic cover protecting the compass has a small crack along one edge that can be clearly seen in the below photos. The lid fits snugly. The compass is about 1 3/4 inches hiin height and the base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
