This item offered for bid consists of : THREE LOVING CUP TROPHIES . As can be seen from the included photos, these LovIng Cup Trophies are in excellent condition. All three Loving Cups were manufactured by the Dodge, Inc. Trophy Company. The photos of the single trophies are included so as to better show the size and condition of each. The Loving Cup on the left, in the three cup photo, is approximately 8 inches tall with a base of 2 5/8 inches diameter. The middle Loving Cup is approximately 6½ inches tall with a base of 2 5/8 inches diameter. The Loving Cup on the right is approximately 5 3/8 inches tall with a base of 2 3/8 inches diameter. The two taller Loving Cups are brass with a darker hue to the center portion. The smaller Loving Cup is also brass, but has a bakelite base. I am not an expert in bakelite identification, but I have been told it is bakelite. None of these Loving Cup Trophies have been engraved and would certainly provide an excellent trophy for that very special occasion . As with all vintage items, these three Loving Cup Trophies also have their history. They are all from the 1930's. I know this because the daughter of the lady that won these trophies told me that her mother was the Washington State Badminton Champion in the early 1930's and won these trophies and many others over the years.
