This auction is for a brass bottle opener. The two sides of the opener are not quite the same looking (see photos) and I suspect that it may be hand-made.It is about four inches long, 1 3/4 inches at the widest point, and weighs about five ounces. It depicts a nude female with legs and fins, which I presume is a mermaid, although they are usually pictured with half a fish body and no legs. An interesting conversation piece and a unique item for the barware or bottle opener collector. Please e-mail with any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
