This is a set of 4 vintage or antique picture frame bracket corners stamped in a yellow non magnetic metal and it looks like brass. These were reclaimed from the outside edges of a broken wood frame and they have a scroll and shell design. There is some slight bending, no creases or bad bends and they should straighten quite well. The tabs where they were nailed to the frame have extra holes where someone renailed them and all the tabs have denting and or bending from being nailed to the frame. No nails included. The metal is thin and I think it should straighten OK with a little gentle care and coaxing. I did not notice any missing or broken pieces or any cracks in the metal. They measure approx. 4 1/2" along the outside edge and approx. 4 1/2" across the opening. The tabs are approx. 1/2" deep where they hook to the frame. There are some age spots, darkening and/or patina. I washed them with soap and water and leave any further polishing or restoration up to the discretion of the new owner. There are pictures of the front and back of each individual piece. If you enlarge the following pictures it will take you to all of them and I try to describe accurately and take a lot of pictures so please look at the following pictures, consider them the better part of the description and ask questions. This is an as is auction with no returns. read more
