Selling one (1) brown SHEAFFER'S Craftsman fountain pen - see pics and description for details. Selling only to reduce my inventory and because I have a duplicate pen with a wider nib, which I prefer. Pen is 5 and 1/8 inches capped and 6 inches posted. I think this color was called "Umber Brown". Shirt clip is stamped "SHEAFFER'S", is straight and tight to the cap body. Pen has gold filled wire band at cap lip. Nib is the #33 Sheaffer nib in 14k and seems to be a fine point. Filler system tube and sac guard are all in good shape - ink sac was gone when pen was found. Full and easily visible barrel imprint (not what I would call deep and strong though). No tool marks on threaded and visulated section. Barrel and cap threads form a good and tight fit. Pen is un-restored and thus is being sold "as is - as found". If you are looking for pens to practice re-sacing techniques on, this would be nice to add to your collection. With a new sac, maybe a fresh blind cap seal, and a good polish, this would make a good user. Item comes from a smoke-free/tobacco-free home (but I cannot vouch for prior owners or shop keepers).
