Vintage Barbie Doll Brunette American Girl #1070 from 1965-67 in excellent condition.Head to toes-Deep brunette hair is the thicker rooted type, no cuts or missing plugs. Face had nice overall color. No rubs to pale peach lip color. A little fading to the end of her left eyebrow. No neck splits, no nips or pricks. She does have a tap by each ear, it does not go all the way through to make a hole. No green or paling.Her body is very clean with minimal play wear. Her joints are tight except for her left hip is loose at the joint. It does position back and forth and hold, but I hear a ' Knees bend and hold x3, I would say the right is a little softer hold than the left.There are no stains, chews or pin pricks to her legs. She has just about 100% of her nail polish, and I see specks of paint on her toes up close, so really no toe polish.She is on a Japan body with raised letters.She will come to you in her American Girl swimsuit, in good condition. Overall clean, no holes or runs, there are a couple of stitches out on the right shoulder. Nice Barbie R tag. Her Japan turquoise open toe shoes are excellent. Her gold wire stand is loose where the base wires meet and needs to be re-soldered.She will ship in a clear lid doll display box for you. Excellent- Fabric and color still nice but not 'new crisp/bright', may have minor flaws visible on close inspection, some play wear, tag might show some light fray. Good- Fabric/color may show some fading/age discoloration, and not very crisp, has flaws, has been played with, tag shows fraying. Fair- Fading and/or washing with limp fabric, visible flaws, a lot of play wear, frayed tag. Poor- Good for parts. Smoke free, pet free. I have a poor sense of smell and these are old items with previous environment unknown. I do gladly offer full refunds if you are not completely happy for any reason!
