We are listing a pair of composite, chalkware or ceramic bookends by the Universal Statuary Company in Chicago. The theme of the bookends is the financial markets, and they feature a bull and a bear with pages from the Wall Street Journal in the background and ticker tape as an accent. They are brown and gold and measure approximately 8-1/4" tall and 7" wide. The bookends are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and excellent color. They have a few, very small areas of missing paint, and we've provided a few pictures as examples. The bookends are marked on the back with "Universal Statuary Corp", "1969", and "Chicago".Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We thoroughly inspect each listed item and attempt to accurately describe it. If you have any questions about one of our listings, please don't hesitate to contact us.
