For sale is this truly stunning record player which has been fully serviced and plays perfectly with that lovely rich sound which comes from valve record players. The service included replacing the transformer and rebuilding the amplifier using original parts where appropriate. There is also a new Stylus fitted. The deck is a Garrard Autoslim and as you can see from the photos is in a good clean condition. It will play up to 6 records using the auto-changer and automatically detects the record size. It has 4 speeds. Cosmetically it is in great shape with all original fitting/screws etc. there are a few minor scuffs - but hey it is 50 years old!! The only negative is that the badge is missing from the front (a very common problem with this model) though if you could find one they are easily glued on. I have seen some refurbished models where the front grill has been painted but I have decided to leave it as it is. My attitude to all my vintage decks is that I don't want them to look brand new!!
