GREETINGS & WELCOME TO OUR AUCTION! THIS AUCTION OFFERING: VINTAGE, HAND/CUSTOM MADE, FAILLE VALANCE w/ APPLIED LACE TRIM...Dainty little doosie!!! We show it atop a pair of embroidered cotton organza curtains. It's really sweet and refreshing looking. It's of fairly recent vintage and some of you would like to just say "used" or "pre-owned". Whatever the case, it's like new! It measures 17" Long (from the lower casement edge to the tip of the lace trim) X 92" Wide. Ideally, it should cover a window opening 1/2 the width or up to 45" Wide. It's got a 1-1/2" casing for use with either a flat or round rod up to the same diameter. Above the rod, you would have a gatd height of 2-3/4" (nice touch). It's trimmed in a natural colored, synthetic lace trim along the lower edge. It is unlined so it lets the light through which amplifies the soft color and sheen of the faille. We think it's a synthetic moire faille. Our recommended care would be...dry clean or hand wash in Woolite. But...it's clean, like new and ready to hang! We do our very best to provide you with an accurate description of each item we list.
