These have been in the family for many years. They came from my grandmother. I don't know if they are antique or vintage. H&C L France Seashell Plates with Fish Platter Made by Someone Else? Plates by H&C L France. Platter only says “Patd April 2d 80.” Plates are about 8 5/8” across at the widest part. Fish platter is about 23 ½” by 9 ¼” at the widest part. Fish Platter is undamaged. Plates have been used so show some wear at gold edges. 3 plates have 1 chip each at edges. 2 plates have 2 chips each at edges. 7 plates have no chips but of these, three show quite a bit of wear at all the gold. One plate says “Haviland France” on the back rather than “H&Co. L France,” and this is a plate with 2 chips. Let me know if you have questions or want to see more photos!
