VINTAGE c1968 ROYAL CROWN DERBY OLD IMARI 1128 SOLID GOLD BAND HANDLED DISH 1STThis auction is for a small elegant English Bone China dish in the Old Imari 1128 pattern by Royal Crown Derby . There is lavish gold gilt on the design, band of trim, footed pedestal, and 2 handles. Marked underneath with the Royal Crown Derby England hallmark and date code XXXI (1968).DimensionsThe small dish measures approximately 6-1/2" in length (handle to handle) by 5". It stands 1-1/2" tall.ConditionThis 48 year old dish is in very good pre-owned condition without chips or cracks. The dish has never been used and only displayed. The colors are very bright , and the gold is in very good condition. Mentioned for accuracy are 2 small spots of VERY faint rings ( total of 2 ring shapes) and a few tiny light surface scratches on the gold gilt trim. These can only be seen upon very close inspection under a bright light and does not affect appeal or display. There is a small mark of blue underneath the dish that probably occurred during the manufacturing ( see photo #10 ). Please see all photos.
