Vintage Canadian Flyer Ice Skate Advertising Brochures I have 2 Canadian Flyer ice skate print pieces. One is called "Flashing Blades" and is in comic book style and contains advertising for Canadian Flyer ice skates, Union Hardware sidewalk roller skates, Sealand bowling, baseball & football shoes and Rain-Beau fishing rods & line. The second piece is folded twice and appears to be a tag that was attached to a Canadian Flyer ice skates or skating "outfit" of some sort. This piece lists the features of the ice skates, care of the product, a guarantee and includes a business reply mail registration form to send in. The comic book measures 3-1/2" x 5" and is 16 pages long, it is dated 1960, it is printed in color (like the Sunday comics). The tag has a hole punched in it with a string through it to attach to the skates, it measures 4" x 8-3/4" when opened up, it is printed on both sides and is blue and black ink on a white background, age appears to be 1950s/1960s. Both are in very, very good condition. These can be mailed to you very inexpensively in a manila envelope with cardboard for stiffness, First Class Mail.
